Hey, I’m Will!

I’m a sound designer and musician living in Austin, TX. I moved here in 2011 to study film at the University of Texas at Austin. I graduated in 2015, and since then I’ve done all kinds of sound and music work in town. I’ve worked on sets and have edited and mixed shorts, podcasts, commercials, you name it. I also work full-time at the university at the LAITS film production studio, where I train students to become engineers themselves.

I’ve written music and played in a couple bands since I was 15 — from a psychedelic jam band, to shoegaze, to electronic indie and rock. Most recently, I’ve been working on my portfolio as a composer for film and video games. I like writing goofy karaoke synth music, lo-fi jazzy beats, and ambient and classical arrangements. I’m inspired by video game composers from games that I love, such as Masayoshi Soken, Christopher Larkin, and C418.

When I’m not working I love gaming, petting my two cats, learning how to cook with my partner, and hitting the gym.
